The Stardeck version of the Delta range of slatted pool covers is the classic installation with the cover slats emerging from a flooded pit covered by a Beam (colours available) and Duckboards in either wood or coloured PVC slats.
The Axel has a drive shaft going through a flange and seal into a dry pit on the side, where the easily mountable motor sits.
This model is generally specified on new installations due to the flooded pit requirement, for either indoor or outdoor pools. There is always the option of using the Prefabricated Pit Wall (available in a variety of colours) to avoid the inconvenience of installing a separate flooded Pit.
Slats are available in White, Beige, Grey Blue, or Translucent Solar Blue. The system can become a safety cover that complies with the strict French Standard NF P 90-308 when the Delta Lock fasteners are fitted and used.
The Cleandeck System has been developed to wash the debris off the cover as it opens or closes.
